Conservation
Willowbank is a family owned local wildlife reserve.
We hold a variety of animal species that tell the story of NZ. From introduced animals such as deer, wallabies, monkeys, lemurs and capybara, to rare breeds of farm animals, to NZ native species such as kea, kiwi, tuatara, kaka and takahe.
Willowbank is interactive, hands on and a family favourite with adults and children alike. Many of the animals you can hand feed with special food available at the entrance and pat.
Club Willowbank is our Annual Pass programme for locals. Visit as often as you like over 12 months, for a seriously discounted rate.
The cafe and retail store complete your visit but they are also open to any customers - whether you are visiting Willowbank or not!
