Halls
The Fort Takapuna area has long been a significant point in New Zealand's defences, first for local Maori and then when the fort was originally in the 1880s as a defence against a possible conflict with Russia before being adapted over the years. The Officers Mess is just one of the historic buildings that remain in the area which also include First World War era barracks and a guard house and the artillery headquarters and store. The Officers Mess provides the perfect backdrop to any event.
