I recently was asked by a client "Why do you need to advertise "
Which I thought was a valid question in today's climate so I thought I should let you know a little bit about me. My family and I moved to Auckland from Wellington in February this year to be closer to our extended family. I am a "Licensed Building Practioner" and have been in the building industry for 37 years, 27 of those years owning my own construction company in Wellington. Our move to Auckland is like starting my business from scratch as I don't know anyone here so that's why I am advertising for work. So there it is in a nutshell. Thanks to Neighbourly I'm picking up work which is gaining momentum daily. So remember "No job is too small" for Nick The Builder.
Give me a call for all your building and maintenance requirements. 👍

Just finished this wee job today for a lovely couple in Glendowie. A small deck off the main deck for the new clothesline with an Aluminum screen as a wind break as well as visual appeal. Also a small retaining wall to carry the flagstone pavers for access to the clothesline. The owners are going to pebble and bark around the pavers at there leisure. Im looking forward to seeing the end result. This deck was fixed off entirely with Stainless Steel screws, brackets etc, not a nail to be seen. Although the framing members are H4 treated all cuts were treated with timber preservative for added longevity. All this was overseen by site supervisor "Bob" the cat.
Hopefully he's happy with the result. 😁

We have converted the rear of this barn into accommodation.
Nothing has been altered on the outside. The interior has been converted into a two bedroom homestay with kitchen, bathroom/ensuite, lounge, dining with heaps of storage.
The Brick style tile splash back in the kitchen was installed by myself. The floors are a timber look veneer overlay also installed by myself.
Our clients are stoked with result and looking forward to utilizing the accommodation.
Thanks for viewing and take care.

Photo 1, Small kwila deck show casing lamination of several kwila decking boards to create a curved boarder as per the client's brief.
Photo 2 & 3, Two storey garage with living quarters up stairs. This garage was constructed to match the client's existing 1930's villa style home in every detail but using modern Fibre Cement cladding products, including the gable end shingles.
Remember no job is too small so give me a call and let's get it sorted for you. Thanks and take care.
