Mess It Up

Creative, messy, sensory play sessions for 1-5 year olds without the clean up hassle. Thursday mornings, 10-11am Meadowbank Scout Hall. 28c Rutherford Tce, Meadowbank. Messy play is the most fun you can have with your child in one hour sessions. Mess it up is developmental messy play, where your child can explore, discover, think, learn and problem solve using all their senses. Research suggests messy or sensory play helps connect neural pathways to aid brain development in early childhood. We have at least 6 different sensory experiences in each session from finger painting and play dough to slime and gloop. The best part is you don't have to clean up afterwards. Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, fine / gross motor skills, problem solving / reasoning, and social interaction. Children will experience lots of opportunities to develop their fine motor skills - squishing and squeezing can help develop pre-writing skills. Come and try it!
