About Meadowbank Retirement Village

Tucked away at the quiet end of Meadowbank Road, flanked by leafy green spaces and steps away from the Orakei Basin, Meadowbank Village really does have the perfect location.

Picture yourself in a new, architecturally-designed apartment surrounded by attractive gardens, with recreational activities and services on tap if you want them. There are like-minded neighbours close by, shops and favourite beaches just minutes away, and public transport at your doorstep to whisk you off to events in the city.

This lifestyle could be yours at Meadowbank Village – winner of the 2017 'People's Choice' award from independent review website, Aged Advisor

Retirement Living at its Best
Designed by award-winning architects, Chow Hill, the new Hobson apartments incorporate the quality finishes and up-to-the-minute features you’d expect. To make retirement living even easier and more comfortable, Premium Living Services are available, so instead of doing chores you can be getting to know your neighbours over morning or afternoon tea served each day in the Community Centre.

Open plan living, modern kitchen, master bedroom with luxurious ensuite, a spacious outdoor living area - choose from a variety of floorplans featuring 2-bedroom with flexible third room, 2-bedroom or 1-bedroom apartments.

Most apartments have enclosable balconies that can be opened up on warm days or closed off when the weather is less inviting. Apartments with 2 bedrooms or 2 bedrooms with a flexible third room also have a separate guest toilet.

A Carefree Lifestyle
Imagine never having to worry about home maintenance or security again. At Meadowbank Village you can enjoy a carefree lifestyle with more time to indulge in your favourite hobbies and pursue new interests.

The Community Centre becomes the hub of village life, with its gym, library, bar, pool table, hairdresser, cinema and cosy lounge with fireplace. There’s also a café so you can take a break from cooking and catch up with friends or family over a delicious meal created by our International Chef.

If you’re looking for a bit of variety or the opportunity to socialise with your neighbours, there’s the village activities programme. Regular happy hours, guest speakers, movie nights, bus trips to local shops, special events and outings offer our residents plenty of options.
