* Sow Carrot and Parsnip seeds directly into weed-free beds.
* Sow Tomatoes, Zucchini, Cucumber, Basil, and Capsicum seeds into seedling trays inside.
* Plant grafted Tomato in a sheltered, warm spot such as a greenhouse or in a moveable pot.
* Plant potatoes, but make sure they’re starting to sprout first.
* Prepare new beds and improve your soil by forking the soil and adding Kings Compost, Kings Sheep Pellets and Nature’s Organic Fertiliser.

Our new season roses are in-store now and we’ve got almost any colour you could wish for – from classic whites, pinks and reds to dramatic deep purples, yellows and oranges.

While they’re not blooming yet, if you plant soon you’ll see gorgeous flowers from spring until autumn.

To give your roses the best start, make sure you pick the right spot in your garden. Roses need at least 6 hours of sun a day and prefer free-draining soil that’s rich in organic matter.

We are excited to be re-opening all of our stores and Kings Garden Cafe cafes when New Zealand moves into Alert Level 2 tomorrow!

We can’t wait to see you all in-store, however we do ask you to be mindful of a few key things:

Store hours will be 9am – 4pm⠀
Staff and customers must stay 2 metres apart at all times – this may require us to limit numbers in-store⠀
We’re unable to accept cash payments
Our cafes will require you to register for contact tracing purposes⠀
Staff will be cleaning surfaces regularly

If you’d prefer to shop without leaving your bubble, we are still welcoming Click & Collect and phone orders.

We wanted to let you know that our teams are working as fast as possible to get orders out, but it is likely that there will be delays in getting your order to you.

Timings:
Online orders will take up to 7 working days to be delivered⠀
Click & Collect orders will be processed within 24 hours

Providing amazing customer service is really important to us, so we felt it was important to be upfront – and to ask for your patience and understanding as we do our best in Level 3 conditions.

One final note - if you’re trying to reach us by phone and can’t get through, please do keep trying as the phone lines are running hot at the moment!
