First National Collective Hawera

First National Collective is a real estate company evolved from and founded on it's predecessor First National Allied Farmers, who successfully serviced the Taranaki province for over 120 years.

The business was purchased in April 2013 by existing real estate agents Shawn Gibbon and Owen Mills and their wives Pam and Mary.

We have been a member of the New Zealand and Australia wide First National Group since 1999, offering a much broader base of client connections and referrals and the ability to capitalise on the national network while retaining the advantage of local ownership and identity.

Our offices are situated in Stratford, Hawera and New Plymouth and specialise in the marketing of residential, rural, lifestyle and commercial properties, as well as providing rental Property Management services.

The long established rural sales side of the business has for many years performed particularly well, traditionally achieving a market share of 50% or greater of farm sales in Taranaki each year.

About this property
Located just 16 km from New Plymouth and 6 km from Inglewood, this immaculate 43.715 hectare (more or less) grazing farm offers scale, fertility and quality infrastructure in one of Taranaki's most desirable locations. The property is held in two productive adjoining titles that have been farmed together to a very high standard, presenting clean, well-managed pasture and exceptional overall layout.

Historically utilised as a dairy heifer grazing unit, the farm has delivered consistent performance with strong annual feed production. Regular fertiliser applications have supported reliable pasture growth, and the contour and layout allow for efficient grazing management throughout the season. With its combination of scale, soil quality and infrastructure, the farm would equally lend itself to multiple farming systems - from large-scale operators looking for an intensive finishing block through to those seeking a dependable grazing platform close to New Plymouth.

Infrastructure for the whole farm includes two implement sheds, two hay sheds, a modern set of cattle yards complete with head bail and concrete floor, and a reliable bore water supply servicing the key areas of the farm. A central farm race and excellent internal access support seamless stock movement and day-to-day practicality.

Presentation is a genuine highlight, with the current owner's care evident across fencing, water systems, pasture quality and overall general maintenance. This is a turnkey grazing unit that can be taken over with confidence, appealing to those who value well-managed land and strong productive capability.

Offering scale, productivity and proximity to town, farms of this calibre and location should warrant serious consideration.
