Passed peacefully on 24th October 2022, aged 75 years. Father to Eddie Ualesi and wife Linda; Velli Brian and husband Tim. Gramps Flynn to Ashleigh, Cameron U, Logan and Heidi, Cameron E, Connor, Callum. Loved by many other family members and friends. A Memorial service and celebration of his life on Saturday 5th November, 2pm - 10pm. Refreshments and dinner provided at Paremata Plimmerton Rugby Football Club, Pascoe Ave, Paremata, Porirua 5022.

LINGARD, Antony Paul (Tony)

On October 27, 2022. Peacefully at Dunstan Hospital after a short illness. Son of Charles and Phyllis Lingard (deceased). Father of Stuart and Sonya. An informal service will be held for Tony in the Coronation Hall, Hall Rd, Bannockburn, on Friday, November 4 at 2.30pm. As per Tony’s wishes his ashes will be interred at the Nevis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Dunstan Hospital. The Dunstan Hospital team were amazing in their care for Tony. Messages to 26 Domain Road, Bannockburn, Cromwell 9384.

On Saturday 24 October 2022, peacefully in Waikanae. Dearly loved wife of the late Ernest. Mother of Diane Annesley (dec) and Shane Peck. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, her sisters Norma and the late Betty
and Lyla, the extended family and her many friends. A gathering to farewell Margaret will be held at the Kaitawa Crematorium Chapel, Ngarara Road, Waikanae on Tuesday 1 November 2022, at 10.00am.

McIVER, Graeme Maxwell

Died peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2022, aged 82 years, in Wellington, having lived most of his life in Christchurch. Much loved father of Linda and Jennifer, father-in-law of Arthur and Richard, grandfather of Libby, Matthew, Harrison (deceased), Noah, Lulu, and Willa. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Te Hopai Home and Hospital who cared for Graeme in his final months and to the Assisted Dying Service, which enabled Graeme to pass away with a beautiful and meaningful day surrounded by his family. Much loved wife of Sydney for 59 years, mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Judy, Conon and Deb, Rochelle and Geoff, and Sharyn, loved Nanny of Sam, Alysha, Jordan, Sam, Kathryn, Savannah, Mykelti, Matthew, Ben, Catherine and Joshua, much loved sister of Jim, Bart, Johnny, Joan, Pat, Colleen, Thomas, Maurice, Mary, Frank and Bryan, loved sister-in-law of Bruce, Jeffrey, Evan, Keith, Jillian and Ralph, and a lovely aunty to countless nieces and nephews. Leading Aircraftman Royal Air Force, served in the Pacific – Died peacefully on 22 October 2022 at Heretaunga Care Centre, Silverstream, aged 99 years. Dearly loved husband of Eliza (Lila). Cherished father and father-in-law of Allan McDonald & Fran Allison, Judith & Alfred Scholz, Ann McDonald, Claire McDonald & Neill Blue. Loved Grandpa of Hana and Bede and their partners Sigi and Isabell. Loved great-grandfather of Florian, Paula and Raya.
Mac will be dearly missed.
A special thanks to the nursing staff at Heretaunga Care Centre for their love and care of Mac. A private family farewell and cremation has taken place in accordance with Mac’s wishes.

Much loved father and father-in-law of Anna and John Paul Said Pullicino, Grand-Dan to Eli and Maya, Tokyo. Loved brother of Dorothy, Frances (deceased) and Sheila, USA. Teacher of English at Waimea College for 27 years. Thanks to the staff of A&E and Ward 10 Nelson Hospital, carer Teresa, and to the staff at Flaxmore Lifecare for their care and support over recent months.
