Leading Aircraftman Royal Air Force, served in the Pacific – Died peacefully on 22 October 2022 at Heretaunga Care Centre, Silverstream, aged 99 years. Dearly loved husband of Eliza (Lila). Cherished father and father-in-law of Allan McDonald & Fran Allison, Judith & Alfred Scholz, Ann McDonald, Claire McDonald & Neill Blue. Loved Grandpa of Hana and Bede and their partners Sigi and Isabell. Loved great-grandfather of Florian, Paula and Raya.
Mac will be dearly missed.
A special thanks to the nursing staff at Heretaunga Care Centre for their love and care of Mac. A private family farewell and cremation has taken place in accordance with Mac’s wishes.
