Grey Power Federation was founded in 1986 as a voluntary organisation to protest against the surcharge on Superannuation.

As an advocacy organisation with a vision for New Zealand to be a country where seniors live in dignity enjoying a rewarding, safe and sustainable quality of life.

Membership open to anyone.

Originally Auckland based, Grey Power quickly became a force to be reckoned with. Grey Power now has  more than 32,000 members throughout New Zealand in more than 74 associations. This gives the Federation a very powerful voice.  Whether you are an older adult yourself, a caregiver, or a relative we invite you to join us to make our voice stronger.
