We here at Tui Glen Rest-home wish for everyone to know we are here not just as a rest home but also we could be central to the Atawhai community for a meeting place. People are most welcome to ring or drop in and bring their projects to discuss or do at our home. We are wanting to bring the community into our rest-home so that our residents feel they are part of a wider community so increasing their feeling of being a part of something instead of feeling separated. The buzz of new ideas, students doing their study projects, artists, writers, quilt makers etc are all welcome to use our place as a venue for meeting.
