The Southern Trust has been a proud funding sponsor of a full range of community groups and charitable causes. There are just too many groups to mention and they do vary from large organisations, such as the Bone Marrow Trust and Auckland Zoo, to local community groups, such as guiding and scouting, toy libraries, surf life saving, church and youth groups, local events and festivals and many, many more. It is our policy to return 95% of available proceeds to the community in which they were raised. The remaining 5% of proceeds are distributed to purposes that benefit wider regional communities or purposes that benefit all New Zealanders.
