Sustinnoworx is the sustainable arm of Shakti Community Council Inc.
It is a social enterprise project that aims to make a pathway for skilled yet unemployed people to harness their skills, abilities and resourcefulness to become entrepreneurs or secure employment.
The main purpose of this project is to recycle, reinvent, reuse, and reduce, through upcycling workshops. Sustinnoworx collects clothes donations and sell them in a 4R op-shop with the profit earned going back to Sustinnoworx to fund education, business, and life skills programs and also the women and families that Shakti assists.
We are always in need of volunteers, upcycling participants and donations! We do provide references for volunteers. Please get in touch with Victoria if you are interested or drop by our shop.
