When the Papatoetoe Historical Society started in 1988 the most important activity was to gather as much of the district’s history as possible, before it was lost for ever. After over 30 years we have collected a wide range of information and artefacts, all of which may be viewed at the museum at the Papatoetoe Chambers. Open every Thursday from 11 am to 3 pm and every third Saturday of the month from 1pm to 4pm, other times by arrangement. Access to archives by appointment.
