We are a registered charity (CC57196) based in CHCH. We provide care packages for victims of a recent traumatic event. We also supply Welcome Packages to new Refugee families arriving into Christchurch. We also respond to large scale disasters eg Floods. We have multiple collection points around the city and goods are normally dispatched to those needing them donated from the kind people of Chch within 3 to 4 days normally all sorted and labelled. We have no paid staff. We are all volunteers. Our care packages include some essential grocery items, good bitches baking treats, toiletries, hand made cards, painted rock, knitted heart, magazines, new toys etc for kids and even some pet items. These are all donated by you kind and generous members of the public. We survive by fundraising by knitting and sewing items, movie nights, sausage sizzles etc. We always welcome new volunteers.
