A mountain biker-led community project in the suburb of Miramar, Wellington, NZ. Building tracks, helping restore the native flora and fauna, removing rubbish etc. A project of the Wellington Mountain Bike Club. Our primary purpose is the development of dual-use (walking / running and biking) tracks in the Wellington City Council reserve at the northern end of Miramar, Wellington, New Zealand. We are also helping restore the bush through rubbish and pest-plant removal along with increasing bio-diversity through the planting of endemic (i.e. local) native plant species. The Miramar Track Project is now a sub-project of the Wellington Mountain Bike Club.
