Linwood Community Gardens are part of the Linwood Resource Centre. There is also a Mens Shed and Community House at the Centre - it's a great place for meeting new people and learning new skills! The gardens are open from Mon-Wed 10-3pm and Thursday 10-1pm. These hours change in the summer.
Everyone is welcome at the gardens and you can come and help out in the communal plots, or look after your own plot and grow vegetables for your household.
Every second Thursday from 10:30-11:30am we hold a garden group where we learn about different topics related to gardening, or go out on trips to other gardens and places of interest.
We’d love to see you, so pop in and say hello. You don’t need to know anything about gardening, and can take home seasonal veges when you volunteer. If you'd like more information, email Donna at lrcgardens@gmail.com
