Herne Bay Playcentre is a licensed early childhood provider located in Herne Bay, Auckland. It is a place for families who want to be involved in their preschool children’s education. The playcentre philosophy supports parents to be their child’s first and best educator and believes in learning through play. Herne Bay Playcentre is one of around 500 playcentres nationwide. Each centre is a parent co-operative where the families attending run all aspects of playcentre. Most children who attend our centre live in Herne Bay, Westmere, Point Chevalier, Grey Lynn and Ponsonby, but we welcome others who live outside these areas.
