This year we require help from a local and talented keyboard player to accompany our acoustic and bass guitar and singers at this year’s carol service. The service will begin at 5 pm and go for an hour max. A pre-service setup and practice session will start at 3.45 pm with several rehearsals also required in the weeks leading up to the service.

The service will comprise approximately twelve popular carols over three to four sets separated by a Christmas message and other family entertainment.

If you are available and would like to assist Church 360 by playing keyboard in this year’s Christmas Eve carol service, please contact Rory on 312 0973 or 021 766 285.

When you look at the attached image and ponder the question, it makes much more sense than you might imagine. In many cultures bunnies symbolize life, rebirth, and the tradition of a spring bunny (northern hemisphere) bringing gifts to children.

The cross, though once a tool for a tortured death, but because of Jesus, has become the symbol of eternal life, possible because Jesus rose from the dead. The Easter bunny tells a story of abundant life, giving, joyful living, pictures of the reality that Jesus made possible on the cross.

Join Church 360 for our Easter service at Swannanoa School Hall, Sunday at 10:00 am. We’ve got an Easter hunt and games for the children as well as a BBQ / light lunch provided after the service. But we’ll also share about the creator of bunnies, all things joyful and life-giving—Jesus. We look forward to seeing your there.

We exist for people to come together to explore, grow and share the journey of faith in Jesus Christ within our local Waimakariri community. Church 360 offers a contemporary expression of worship where everyone, regardless of background, ethnicity or status, can find their place in God’s family and experience the love, joy, peace and hope that God offers to each of us.

Our vision is to grow a flourishing community focussed church where people can connect with their local neighbours without leaving our idyllic country setting. Church 360 is also a great place to come and experience Christianity and discover what faith in God is all about. We also welcome local Christians to come and join with us in our mission to promote a thriving church presence and to engage and meet the faith needs of our community with the gospel.

Church 360’s recent gift of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to Swannanoa School, which is also available for use to the wider rural community, reflects our heart to step up and support our neighbours in ways that fulfil more practical needs within our community.

Church 360 is a foundation member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of New Zealand and is closely associated with ‘The Well’, our sister church in Sydenham, Christchurch. We provide a well-supported children’s ministry for ages 3 to 12 and are actively seeking ways to further engage with the people of our community. Come and check us out, visit our website: church360.nz; or reply to this post to find out more.

We look forward to having you come and join with us soon.
