Christchurch South Community Patrol is a diverse group of volunteers committed to serving their community. You will often see us in our distinctive vehicle as we patrol streets, parks, schools, and malls. We also carry out specific tasks for the Police. Our role is to observe, record and report what we see. What we can offer you: With Christchurch South, you will have the opportunity to perform a valuable service for your community and enjoy the company of others who share your commitment. You will receive training to ensure you can patrol effectively and safely. Our patrol is part of the national community patrols of NZ network (CPNZ). Our patrol area ranges from Halswell Quarry to Ferrymead, from Lincoln Road - Moorhouse Ave - Ferry Road to Summit Road and everywhere in between.
