Anita's Garden is a not-for-profit enterprise aimed to educate locals about how they can grow their own fruit and vegetables so they can improve their health and reduce their grocery bills. I have created an organic urban homestead at our property in Manukau based on the belief that it is possible to be largely self-sufficient, even in the city. I run a boutique plant nursery (to help cover the cost of materials such as seeds, potting mix etc), hold workshops, talks and have recently branched out into consulting, advising on all aspects of garden design and development.
