WeVisit is a social enterprise that fosters intergenerational connection for mutual benefit. We offer a range of different services including in house help and companionship from a dependable energetic young visitor for older members of the community. We also offer tech help sessions on how to use cellphones, iPads, tablets and computers. We can help you set up a new device or teach you how to use new apps like Facebook, Youtube and Skype to get the most out of your devices. The newest addition to WeVisit is a mentorship program we are running with the CDHB where we pair up a younger person seeking work with an early retiree who has the time to mentor them for 2-3 hours a week. Be that working on a project together or just sharing life experience. We pride ourselves on matching people with similar interests in the same community to help build social connections.
