Kaipara Workwear & Safety was established in Dargaville, the ‘Kumara Capital' in Northland, New Zealand in 1992.
Our NZ-owned Family Business initially set out to fulfill the needs of the working people of Northland.
Over the years Kaipara Workwear expanded its range and broadened its customer base. Through our endeavors we have become a major supplier of personal and industrial health and safety products, as well as corporate image apparel throughout the region and beyond. In 1995 we moved to new premises.
A further 7 years of growth to 2002 necessitated another move this time into our own purpose-built premises providing 2500 sq feet of showroom and 6000 sq feet of warehouse including an embroidery plant to provide custom branding services for our clients. Shortly after that, we also opened our store in Whangarei to serve the industry in that area.
In 2014 Kaipara Workwear & Safety was re-branded to Trade Workwear & Safety as we expanded into other areas throughout New Zealand.
