In the same way that your cells don’t know what type of stress you are facing i.e. a 🐯 tiger chasing you or terrible traffic 🚗🚕🚌🚚, they just respond to the signals that your brains sends out in the form of neurotransmitters and hormones.

The same thing happens when you laugh. Although you could be laughing for many different reasons, your cells only know that the happy signals are coming from your brain and respond with healing and relaxing.

We all know that the weeks leading up to the end of the year and summer holidays is known for hectic schedules and increased demands on our energy - because absolutely everything needs to be done before Christmas.
