The Road Forward

The Road Forward is a charitable trust and was formed on 10th August 2015 providing peer support services to survivors who have experienced sexual harm, the founding members have been providing peer support groups in Wellington since 2010.

Our mission (Whakatakanga) is to promote early disclosure by victims of sexual harm, support and empower survivors of sexual harm in their recovery processes. To provide community-based social services and other resources to survivors and their Whānau. To provide education about the prevention of sexual harm, and provide education and training in survivor issues that support the needs of other agencies and the community providers.
