The Labour of Love HyonoBirthing courses in Christchurch are childbirth education classes that focus on more positive and gentle methods for labour and birth. You learn relaxation and visualisation techniques, positive affirmations to build a positive mindset towards pregnancy, birth and beyond, you learn how your birthing body works and how to work with it rather than against it, you feel empowered and confident in your birth choices and you birthing companion also learns techniques so they have an important role to play rather than feeling like a helpless bystander.
