Yoga
Tauranga Yoga centre is a non profit membership based organization founded to bring authentic, affordable Yoga to the Tauranga Moana community. Founded some 48 years ago -we currently have 12 trained and experienced teachers who offer 25 classes per week.
At TYC Hatha, Vinyasa and Astanga styles are all taught at beginner and more advanced levels - so there is a class suitable for most students. We also have an Antenatal class for mama's to be and a Pink yoga class which is a donation only class, for women whose lives have been affected by cancer.
A membership is just $100 for unlimited class from 8 June until 13 September. We work on a four term years, OR you can just drop in for $15. All the classes are 1.5hrs long apart from one on Thursday. which is one hr long. Its best to have your own mat to proactive on - but TYC does have a few available if you want to try a class before committing and all the other props(bolsters, straps, blocks and blankets) are provided.
