Welcome to Tauranga BJJ, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy with world class Black Belt Instruction.
At Tauranga BJJ we focus on building a fun, safe and friendly atmosphere to train and learn the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
BJJ is a martial art suitable for all ages and sizes. It is a martial art that relies on technique and leverage and will allow much smaller individuals to control a larger opponent.
Tauranga Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy is led by Ryosei Kurihara who received his Black Belt from one of the greatest Brazilian Jitsu Competitors of all time, 10 time world champion, Roger Gracie.
All levels are welcome from beginners who want to try their first martial art to experienced Jiu Jitsueiros.
