Libraries
Takapuna Library is a central hub for many community activities in the Takapuna beach area. We run a variety of programmes and events; from meet the author talks, art exhibitions, to short courses on how to use digital devices.
We have a comprehensive collection of fiction, non-fiction, DVDs, magazines and access to digital resources. We also have a vast collection of books for both children and teens. And our North Auckland Research Centre can provide in depth information on all things New Zealand.
What’s more, we run some fantastic children’s programmes to encourage reading and learning from ages 0 to 14.
