About Taekidokai Martial Arts

We are a Martial Arts club catering to children, teens and adults. We have classes in Rototuna, Te Totara, Flagstaff, Hamilton City and Dinsdale,.

Students will learn how to use their body in order to defend themselves and gain a sense of confidence and accomplishment as they progress through the grades.

Our founder, Sensei Rodney Day, controls all grading tests throughout NZ and Australia, ensuring the same high standard exists in all of the clubs affiliated to Taekido. Grading occurs quarterly and Dan gradings are held three times per year.

Our instructors are highly trained.

We have a flexible payments structure. There are discounts available to students who want to train more than once a week, otherwise you pay as you go. The first class is free so you can try before committing.

We are family flexible. Many families train together in the same class. We always have room for more students.
