Sweet Cheeks Merino is a New Zealand company that was formed by two mothers 10 years ago looking for a product that would keep their babies warm that had hyper allergenic properties due to wool allergies. Merino wool was the obvious choice of fabric due to it being exceptionally warm, and its great breathable properties. Unlike regular wool, merino wool has a silky outer layer making it super soft to the touch. Its hypoallergenic properties ensures it’s safe for babies with sensitive skin, eczema or allergies. And in some cases has been shown to reduce allergies.
We create babies and kids merino clothing and sleepwear, using only the finest 100% pure Merino wool that is 100% natural and ecologically sound. It is a 100% natural fibre grown in an alpine environment in the South Island of New Zealand. As a result, our Sweet Cheeks Merino clothing feels silky soft, is machine washable, dries quickly, and regulates temperature to keep kids at an ideal temperature in all climates.
