Chimney Sweeps
Lighting a fire is a welcome way to keep warm in winter, but fireplaces do need some maintenance to be kept safe. The NZ Fire Service, fireplace manufacturers and some insurers want chimneys in use cleaned at least once a year. This is because during their use, flammable soot called creosote builds up inside your flue, which can ignite if left to accumulate. SuperSweep is a locally owned and operated chimney sweep service. Owner/operator Winton Smith and his family have lived in Rotorua for over 10 years and Winton has worked in the home heating industry for more than 20 years. He offers a prompt, clean, affordable and friendly service that will leave you with peace of mind. A standard chimney service (normal pitched roof) in urban Rotorua is only $75 per chimney (incl. GST). He also offers a wide range or repairs, group discounts and travels to other areas (E.g. Tauranga, Taupo, Tokoroa).
