Gardening has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember, but it wasn’t until my forties that I decided to turn that passion into a career. After more than 20 years as a mechanical design engineer, I closed the doors on my consulting business, completed a New Zealand Certificate in Horticulture Services (Landscape Design), and launched Qanopy Landscapes & Gardens. And I couldn’t be happier.
I love spending time outdoors. I take pride in creating and maintaining spaces that bring people joy, spaces that reflect the personality of those that use them. And, thanks to my engineering brain, I’m not bad at fixing stuff either.
