All cat collars are hand made from the highest quality Russet leather and backed with softer leather for your kitties comfort. They are lovingly made from start to finish from the cutting to the coloring.
Paw Hide collars are also designed as safety collars using an elastic connection just in case your kitty gets caught on such things as a branch or twig they won't be hurt by the actual collar itself. : )
It was by pure accident that I started making collars for cats. I had a decent amount of Leather sitting around with no project to use it on at the time. Then one day it just struck me to make cat collars.
Leather Dog collars were and are dime a dozen but here in New Zealand I had never personally seen a pure leather cat collar. So it made sense.
I dedicate Paw Hide collars to my two closest animal friends Monty and Ella.
