Welcome to the Ngati Ruanui Stratford Mountain House situated on Maunga Taranaki (Mount Taranaki) which represents the most sacred of ancestors to Ngati Ruanui.
Owning the Stratford Mountain House allows us to extend to all visitors our manaakitanga (hospitality) and provide a unique experience.
As well as the Mountain Café, Award Winning Licensed Mountain Restaurant and Mountain Bar we offer luxurious and elegant alpine accommodation. The Stratford Mountain House is a great place for an intimate wedding, conferences or functions. Within walking distance you will find easy grade walking tracks where you will experience alpine flora and bird life.
