Having been revamped to include all the new comforts that travellers want, while retaining its historic roots, The New Railway Hotel is a hostel for backpackers that is unique. Still providing both short and long term options, it combines convenience and luxury with caring, honest hospitality. The hotel is now run by the affable, well-travelled Garry, who has an extensive history in the industry, and is a specialist concerning all things related to NZ travel and tourism.
