Milton "the town of opportunities" now has a weekly outdoor market on Saturdays, from 10am - 1pm, in the shelter of the Tokomairiro Churchyard. Look for the spire, you can't miss it.
In addition to providing an alternative venue for craftspeople of the region, the market is an ideal hub for local food producers from around the area to network and get to know their customers.
The market is also an opportunity for local groups to fund-raise with sausage sizzles or home baking, donated goods and produce stalls.
Buskers are welcome.
Stall sizes and prices are on the website and most sites have room for a vehicle. Bookings are essential.

Occasionally, a market will be cancelled, for a funeral, snow, or other unavoidable event. Cancellations will be publicly advertised and stall-holders with bookings will be contacted directly.
