Massage Therapist - Natalie Floyd

Hi, I'm Natalie

I'm a Tuina (twee-nah) Massage Therapist. Tuina is a form of Chinese Medical Massage that may help manage musculoskeletal problems like a sore and stiff neck, shoulders and lower back. It incorporates acupressure points to stimulate changes in your body eg. increasing circulation&immunity, releasing tension and activating natural self healing.

Tuina includes techniques that in the West are separated into massage, physical therapy and chiropractics. This means I might move and stretch your joints during treatment. This is within your comfort level after warming up the involved tissues with massage. The movements include gentle, circular motions to safely loosen your joints. This fits with Taoist philosophy and the concept of movements ‘flowing like water’.

I currently practice at:
Acute Acupuncture, The Terrace
