A new gallery brings beauty to the fore – the Jean Marr Studio.
Wellington's newest gallery, the Jean Marr Studio, has just opened in Island Bay with gallery directors, husband and wife team, Geoff Kirkham and Lindy Hastings creating an oasis of elegance in the southern suburb.
With a prolific programme of exhibitions planned for the next 12 months, the Jean Marr Studio is keen to highlight new works from several accomplished artists from throughout New Zealand
They have set out to blend the best of New Zealand art with artisan gifts and objets d'art. Visitors will discover a very stylish ambience when they step into the intimate space off Island Bay's Parade.
And to complement the art there is also a carefully curated selection of gifts and objets d'art from New Zealand and around the world.
