The company was founded by aircraft engineer, acoustic guitar player and gold beard sporting Dave Gilberd among the vibrations of life in early 2011. The standards set in learning the trade of keeping 'things what fly' in the air have transferred through to everything we do at Goldbeard. Precision, high standards, doing the job right, as well as a passion for timber, hand-making and a love of science - even a penchant for classic cars and 90's motorcycles - they have all played a significant part in turning Goldbeard Guitars into the company it is today.
