Glenwood Home is a 42 bed Aged Care facility with some "swing beds" that may be used either for Rest Home or Hospital Care. Glenwood has a growing reputation as a quality service with our dedicated staff and focus on providing the best care, while celebrating life and valuing people. There are also 17 single bedroom cottages on site for aging people who enjoy independence while having that added security of being in a Retirement Village. Glenwood is governed by the Anglican-Methodist South Canterbury Glenwood Home Trust Board, who provide oversight and direction via the Facility Manager for this not-for-profit enterprise which was founded on Christian principles to meet local aged care needs.
