Music Teachers
Hi,
I am an experienced piano tutor, working mainly with young people ages 5-18. I like to keep lessons relaxed, and exciting to encourage students to stick at music! All ages and skill levels are welcome so don't be shy!
Experience: I have a degree in Music and Music Technology, from Keele University in the UK. After taking 5 years out of study to travel and work, I recently finished a Masters in Music Therapy at Wellington School of Music. I have been teaching on and off for 8 years.
I am always happy to meet with students/families before beginning lessons, to have a chat and see how we could get on together.
In the other part of my life I am a registered Music Therapist, and currently work mainly in Mental Health around the Wellington/Porirua and Hutt regions.
