About Competenz
Competenz is the industry training organisation that supports New Zealand’s engineering, manufacturing, forestry, printing, signmaking, journalism, and transport industries. We develop qualifications that are recognised around New Zealand, and partner with over 3,500 companies, over 20,000 learners, and many industry associations and training providers in 37 industries, to help people gain skills on-the-job.
We believe in the value of apprenticeships to help people learn. Each year, over 5,500 learners study towards apprenticeships in our industries.
