When receiving treatment from an Osteopath you benefit from seeing a musculoskeletal specialist and the consultation will be similar to that of any registered medical practitioner. For your first consultation it is helpful if you bring with you any medical reports, X-rays or current medication.
Acupuncture can be used to treat areas of pain, and also underlying conditions and general health: e.g. headaches, energy levels, mood, sleep, stress, etc. Points may also be used away from the site of pain (e.g. points in the feet for headaches) .
