IR 3 Returns are due by the 7th of July unless you have a tax agent and an extension of time. If you are a New Zealand Tax resident and NZ is your permanent place of abode and if you earn money from a business (sole-trader or partnership) you will be taxed on your worldwide income you will need to file an IR3 return.

If you are NOT a NZ tax resident then you will only have to file a return on your NZ earned income.

If you run your own business we can help you identify some expenses that you are able to deduct such as:

-Rent (and calculate what can be claimed back from interest on mortgage payments if you use part of your house to run your business)
-Clothes necessary for you to carry out your business
-Mileage Claims portions (if you are using your personal vehicle for business purposes)
-Portions of wear and tear on your personal vehicle if used for business purposes.
-Percentage of Power and Water from you private home if used to run your business and so forth.

Financial Statements are required by Funders, Banks and Government.
