Central FM is Central Hawkes Bay & Tararua's only locally owned and operated radio station operating under a commercial licence. We are heavily involved and focussed on the rural farming communities within CHB & Tararua.
We focus on news, views and issues from the Central Hawkes Bay and Tararua communities because we're local too. Our key features include National News, Local News, Local Weather, Cancellations, Local interviews and on air retail promotions, Community Noticeboard, Lost and Found notices and our weekly Central FM Weather Kid.
Our sound is a blend of current hits and oldies appealing to a wide audience.
We run The Country and the local Cockies Hour programs which provides Central FM's unique rural community flavour. We also run a Saturday Sports Show is hosts The Coach and Rach.
