Building Supplies
Bream Bay Merchants began to trade in September 2005 at 15 Kepa Road Ruakaka, after John Layton (owner) realised the potential in the area for a general merchant. A few months later his wife Wendy joined him.
Our motto is "where nothing is a problem" where the people of Bream Bay get great service at a competitive price.
In 2008 we joined BuildLink, a cooperative of independent operators, which gave us the opportunity to obtain a greater range of products from our country's major suppliers.
In September 2008, due to growth, we moved to a bigger site on the corner of Sime and Kepa road Ruakaka.
Delivery:
We have a light truck for our local deliveries which incurs a small fee. Our forklift and friendly staff are always on hand to help with loading. For larger loads and Hiab handling we can arrange local carriers at an hourly rate.
