Automation Techniques was established in 1993 by Marcel Steens to design, build and supply automation services mainly to timber manufactures, with particular focus on the plywood industry. Today, Automation Techniques has broadened its scope, providing innovative industrial automation design, including produce packing machinery for the food sector and other custom solutions for a range of industries throughout New Zealand and as far afield as Australia.
