A Registered Nurse Practitioner (Mātanga Tapuhi) with over twenty years of experience in the area of mental health nursing.
I am able to:
- Provide non-crisis based mental health care (using nursing theory and concepts)
- Assess, diagnose, and lead treatment from your own home environment
- Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Prescribe medication(s) for Psychiatric and Alcohol/Drug use related conditions
- Provide talking therapy (with a focus on ACT and EMDR)
As things can get a trifle (somewhat) complex at times, I offer mental health services for people 18 years and over, from all backgrounds, on a one to one basis.
I offer appointments on a mutually agreed basis, to maximise the effectiveness of our time together.
I work with those who have a wide range of concerns, such as:
- General Stress
- Anxiety
- Low mood and/or Depression
- Trauma
- Other diagnosed mental health disorders
I also offer supervision for those in the nursing profession.
