On October 20, 2022, our lovely mum, nana and great-nana passed away peacefully at the Merivale Retirement Village, aged 96 years. Soulmate and wife of George (deceased). A very special and loved mum and mum-in-law of Margaret and Terry Shearer, loving and best nana of Lisa and Phil, Kelly and John, and adored great-nanny Ada of Isabella, Trent, Eve and Georgia and Harry. Aged 3 years, 7 months. Peacefully, at Wellington Hospital on Thursday, 20th October 2022, in the arms of her family, after a short illness. Much loved daughter of Rachel and Raymond. Adored sister of Fraser. Best friend of carer Alfie, and very special granddaughter to Granny May, Granny Deb, and Poppy. Our deepest thanks go to the Wellington Hospital Paediatric team, who cared for Lauren like family her whole life. A celebration of Lauren’s life will be held on Wednesday, 26th October, in St Christopher’s Church, corner Main and Lyndhurst Roads, Tawa, at 1.00pm.
