Peacefully passed away
after a courageous battle, on Thursday, October 20, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Gore Hospital. Much loved Mum of Janelle and Thomas, Regan and Tiara, Georgia and Bailey. Cherished Nanny of Freya, Oskar; and Molly. Loved daughter of Elaine and the late Eddie Weti. Sister of Stephen and Saina, and loved aunty of Edward. Loved partner of David Smith and step-Mum to Mitchell and Brooke, and special friend to many.

A service to celebrate Jude’s life will be held in the Gore RSA Function Lounge, Bowler Avenue, on Tuesday, October 25 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. Donations may be left at the service for Gore Hospital Whanau Room. Messages to 1D Crombie Street, Gore 9710.

On 18 October 2022 at Palmerston North Hospital. Aged 58 years. Partner of Graeme and former wife of Craig Zander. Loved mother of Kristin, Tasman (deceased) and Ella. Daughter of Ron and Glenys Hunt, sister and sister-in-law of Leslie, Edward (Perth), Rodney and Karen, Stuart and Nicci. Messages may be left online at www.beauchamp.co.nz.... Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Thursday 20th October 2022, aged 84. Cherished partner of the late Marie Hill. Respected step-father of Ces & Sandra, Annette & Brendan, Raewyn & Gav, and Brendan & Beth. Adored Grandad Toddy of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Toddy’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon St, New Plymouth, on Wednesday 26th October 2022 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. For those unable to attend, Toddy’s funeral will be livestreamed via his tribute page.

Suddenly at Paraparaumu, on Wednesday, 12th October 2022. Aged 62 years. Dearly loved son of Joan and Tony (deceased). Loved brother of Christine (deceased), Brian, Mary, Heather, Nichola (deceased), Jeffrey (deceased), Malcolm, Timothy, Paula, Susan, Pamela and Jenifer. A much loved uncle and friend to so many. A special thank you to friends Charles Todd, Raymond Wilson and Rob Pidduck, and also to Fiona King of Broadbent & May. A family service to celebrate Phil’s life was held at Karori on Tuesday, 18th October 2022.

On October 20, 2022, peacefully at her home in Christchurch. Aged 68 years. Dearly loved wife of Garry, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Matthew and Anna, Blair and Talia, and loved nana of Peyton, and India. On October 20, 2022, our lovely mum, nana and great-nana passed away peacefully at the Merivale Retirement Village, aged 96 years. Soulmate and wife of George (deceased). A very special and loved mum and mum-in-law of Margaret and Terry Shearer, loving and best nana of Lisa and Phil, Kelly and John, and adored great-nanny Ada of Isabella, Trent, Eve and Georgia and Harry. Ada will be missed by her extended family and friends in the U.K. We, the family, would like to say a very special thank you to all the staff at the Merivale Retirement Village who have cared for Ada, your love and support has been amazing. On Tuesday, 18 October 2022, passed away peacefully at Malvina Major Retirement Village, aged 89. Dearly beloved by her late husband Terence; sons and daughters Paul and Carol, Christine and Glenn, Raymond and Kelly, Patricia and Jimmy, late Bradley; grandchildren Arden, Dylan, Whaia, Evie, Jeremey, Lisa; great-grandchildren Harper, Jessie-Lee and Reef. Much loved by her brothers and sisters, wider family, god-daughters, friends and others those lives she touched. A Requiem Mass to celebrate her life will be held at her long-time parish church of Our Lady of Fatima, Main Road, Tawa, on Monday 31 October, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Whenua Tapu Cemetery alongside Terence. The Rosary will be prayed in the same Church on Sunday 30 October at 7.00pm. MALCOLM-SWINDELLS, Lauren Mary

Aged 3 years, 7 months. Peacefully, at Wellington Hospital on Thursday, 20th October 2022, in the arms of her family, after a short illness. Much loved daughter of Rachel and Raymond. Adored sister of Fraser. Best friend of carer Alfie, and very special granddaughter to Granny May, Granny Deb, and Poppy. Our deepest thanks go to the Wellington Hospital Paediatric team, who cared for Lauren like family her whole life. A celebration of Lauren’s life will be held on Wednesday, 26th October, in St Christopher’s Church, corner Main and Lyndhurst Roads, Tawa, at 1.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wellington Conductive Education Trust, who helped Lauren live her life to the fullest, and may be left at the Church. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Thursday 20 October 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 41 years. Much loved and loving husband and soulmate of Abby and loved father of Liam. Loved Son of Jenny and Garth, step-son of Mark, Irmgard and Vicky, and son-in-law of Maryanne and John. Adored brother of Mandy, Matthew (Deceased), Kylie, Anna, Amy, Shelley, Louise, Sara, Brooke, Jay and Tanya, and their families. Super uncle to Cole, Dillon, Christian and Fallon. Cherished grandson of Gillian and the late Bill, Bruce and Betty. Loved and respected his many aunties, uncles and cousins. A very special friend to the Rider family and his many great and closest mates who know who they are. A celebration of Brook’s life will be held at the St Pauls Collegiate School Chapel of Christ the King, 77 Hukanui Road, Chartwell, Hamilton, on Friday 28 October at 11.00am.
